This pub near the Castle with a circular exterior has had a refurbishment which has seen the cask ale offering increase. Six handpumps now dispense beers from mainly Welsh micros. There is a large bar and plenty of seating. There is an outdoor seating area at the front of the pub and there is a function room upstairs. Many TVs show the latest sporting action and it gets particularly busy in here when Wales are playing.
